At USDP, we love meeting clients who have serious ambitions and are ready to take some risks. When you pull together some of Cincinnati's brightest leaders and the desire to promote our local history and culture, there's nothing left but to go big.

America's River Roots Festival aims to attract millions of people to the riverfront in October 2025 for riverboats, music, culture, and cuisine like we've never seen before. The challenge was that the festival team was starting from ground zero with a new concept.

This ambitious plan needed digital execution support, and it didn't take long for our team to climb aboard this project and help them bring it to market quickly.

APPROACH

Designed to Inform Visitors

USDP only had 8 weeks to bring this vision to a new website, complete with online ticket sales integration. From planning to design to coding, it had to happen in a hurry for a planned media blitz. The team worked relentlessly to produce a stunning website that would welcome visitors from around the country.

SOLUTION

All-out Push for Awareness

Due to the nature of planning this grand event, USDP is working closely with America's River Roots Festival to roll out new functionality as ticket sales come online. We are in the planning phase right now for live music that will happen across a dozen stages on the river in both Ohio and Kentucky. It's a big lift, but we are excited to help them sell tens of thousands of tickets in the coming months.

Enhanced User Experience and Engagement

The results have been impressive. Thousands of tickets for riverboat cruises have been sold in a matter of weeks. The next phase is to launch music ticket sales in the spring along with other special events. We can't wait for the big event and 4 days of rock'n & roll'n on the river!
